XDA forum member IzaacJ has created a nifty utility that will help you to keep your password safe in encrypted format on your Windows Phone. If you’re one of those who either keeps forgetting the password or have dozens of accounts on different sites, then PassKeeper application might come in handy in such bizarre situation. For many, forgetting the password means following those tiresome password resetting procedure, but not anymore for Windows Phone users.

IzaacJ has created a Windows Phone app called ‘PassKeeper’ that helps you to save your account information like username, password, link and description. The password is stored in encrypted format to keep it safe from prying eyes. You can easily decrypt and retrieve password using inbuilt ‘decrypt’ function.

Personally, the decrypt function itself makes the application more vulnerable, as your sensitive account information like password is just one tap away. There has to be a facility like ‘master password’, which upon entering gives an access to decrypt function of the application. Since this is a first release of this application, we might get improved version at the later stage, nonetheless, this is a good start by the developer.
