Finally, Nokia Windows Phone has been unveiled after a series of leaks and speculation. Nokia would be hoping to revive its business and getting a foot hold in the smartphone market. Nokia today went one giant leap forward and announced two Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphones- Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 – at Nokia world.
As you would expect it offers slightly better hardware compared to most of the Windows Phone we have seen so far. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft gets benefit from Nokia’s influence in Asian market. This honey-moon will definitely bring some more interesting low-cost handsets keeping Asian users in mind. Interesting part is that CEO Stephen Elop has already announced that India will get these Windows Phone before the end of 2011.
