Unlike previous rumors that predicted the price of Nokia Lumia 610 to be around Rs. 11,000, the new revelation is here to disappoint Indian users. However, we assume that the price could go further down when Nokia officially announce the pricing. The page source code of Nokia store sets the price of Lumia 610 to be Rs. 19,000.
Considering the price of its brethren Lumia 710 is mind, the price seems to be unrealistic. Nokia has already slashed the price of Nokia Lumia 710 to Rs. 15,499, so the price of Lumia 610 doesn’t seem to fit the bill.
Earlier today, fonearena managed to sneak into the Page source to reveal the price of Nokia PureView 808 in India. Surprisingly, it costs around Rs. 29,999 which seems to be fair considering the myriad of features offered by the new camera monster smartphone. We decided to follow the same tactic to see what’s in store for us Windows Phone users.
Lumia 610 was unveiled at MWC 2012. It sports measly 256MB RAM, 3.7-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen and 5MP main camera with LED flash support. The design is specifically designed to keep Asian market in mind. It will offer Windows Phone features to what could be called as an advanced featured phone.
However, we would like to stick to the previous rumor that claims that the price of this device would be around 11k in India. Nokia isn’t likely to offer Lumia 610 at Rs. 20k price since better specs device is already available at cheaper price.
