Here is a series of fresh photos of so called SE Windows Phone. Few days ago we saw a screenshot of self-proclaimed Sony Ericsson Windows Phone prototype. Last year, SE made it clear that they would cling to Android, as they see no real gem in Windows Phone. Sony’s sabbatical from Windows Phone development seems to come to an end with series of leaked images.
WPCentral along with NokiaWP have shed some more light on the device. The device is also code-named as Julie, which allegedly claimed to run on Windows Phone Mango OS. The side-out QWERTY keyboard is something we don’t see often in WP. If this device is running on Mango or later version, then it will signify that this a new attempt of Sony to embrace WP. Of course, there are certain doubts over the possibility of this. There is not even remote possibility that Sony would nod to this leaked prototype image. Looking at the success of Android device, Sony would definitely like to stick to this OS, especially after ICS release , this seems the case.
Last time around when Sony pulled from WP development, no mango update was rolled out, which signifies that Sony has recently developed more interest in developing Windows Phone. Daniel has pointed out that the start-up screen is not similar to those of Mango device, which means that the prototype could be the same which we saw on 2010.
Sony Ericsson Windows Phone has certainly grab our attention, and is something we would like to have in our arsenal on any given day. What do you think guys?Tags: julie, sewp
