Windows Phone hacker has just updated their flagship widget app called Lock Widgets for Windows Phone. Available to only fully unlocked or custom ROM installed handset, it adds uber cool lock screen widgets in Windows Phone. Users can display useful information or add RSS, text message and much more to it.
Lock Widget Update
The new update brings following changes to the front
- Added Spacer widget
- Added text widget
- Fixed some issue (fixes weird garbled lock screen bug)
Apart from all the above widgets you can add earlier supported widget too. Here is the list of widgets supported by Lock Widget app for fully unlocked Windows Phone

- Twitter @user Widget
- Memory Widget
- Daily Bing wallpaper
- Custom Backgrounds
Make sure you have a root access to your device in order to use this application. For more information and video visit official blog. You can tap on the widget to remove it. For normal Windows Phone users, there are few apps like Lockscreen Text which let you add text to the lock screen wallpaper. All you can do is add necessary contact information in case if you’ve lost or misplaced your handset. Lock Widget is much more powerful and provides more options. Let us hope that Microsoft bring something like this in Apollo OS.
