While users await for an official reddit app to lend on their beloved Windows Phone marketplace, we’ve gone through the pain of finding the best free third-party reddit clients for our loyal readers. An appalling absence of social networking applications on platform put WP7 users in bit of pain, but thanks to third-party developers the ache has been de-escalated a bit. While we’re yet to see dedicated official apps from many social networking sites, Windows Phone aficionados are already enjoying other apps like rowi app, PrimeTube etc.
While other social news sites have been crammed with spams, imperishable Reddit has survived from such unwanted assailment from the spammers thanks to active community users. As a Windows Phone smartphone-toting redditor myself, I’ve tried every possible clients to enhance my browsing experience on my WP7 handset. The second reddit app that has impressed us is InstaReddit. It serves as a reddit browser and makes your browsing experience tad easy. Like Baconit, it also supports Mango powered devices. Fast app switching, pinning tiles and other features have been niftily integrated into this WP7 app.

Alien News
Unlike its name, Alien News doesn’t act like an alien when you wish to browse your favorite social news site. Having tried it personally, the app crashes occasionally, however, there is some space for improvement. Much like previous two apps, it lets you browse reddit, upvote/ downvote on submission, comments on subreddits and more. The search function will allow you to find various news on the board. Instapaper support will let you save the link to ‘Read it Later’. All in all, Alien News is worth mentioning client for reddit lovers that needs some finishing touch.
