Once the baron of smartphone and featured phone segment, Nokia, was nowhere to be found after loosing significant market share in 2011. Later, Samsung dethroned Nokia to become to the number one smartphone manufacturer leaving behind giant Apple in the course. However, Nokia found a new ray of hope in Microsoft after its forceful marriage with software giant. Nokia, now hopping on Microsoft’s back, blazing with all guns to make a huge comeback in smartphone segment. In adverse situation, Nokia released propitious Lumia series Windows Phone handset along with some goodies.

Nokia exclusives apps designed to ensure that loyal users of Nokia are glued to their handset. In fact, some of the exclusive apps like Nokia Drive, creative studio and few more. In all fairness, such apps are definitely making Lumia handsets a must have for wannabe Windows Phone users.  Continuing its mission to ambush Windows Phone users with new offering, Nokia has announced new Nokia TV app for lumia series WP7 users.

If you’re a Nokia Windows Phone  users then you would definitely be interested in our best Nokia lumia apps series post. Moving ahead, let us see what Nokia TV app has to offer to prospects. Nokia TV app will provide uninterrupted streaming of TV shows, sports, music and much more. Unfortunately, this WP7 app is designed for Finnish audience only, but other people can still get a preview of the application by installing it on their Windows Phone.

Although, there is no information available whether Nokia has any intention to offer such service in other continents or not, we can definitely expect it to support more countries sooner or later (fingers crossed). Nokia TV app will offer local television channel with ability to stream episodes over WiFi. The content and episodes are in Finnish but you can still download them for offline viewing or stream to other device. Although, the seems to exclusive to Finland users, it is available for other lumia series users only. Do let us know whether you managed to get your hands on this app or not.
