Call of Carlos was a featured game of the day few days back. While most of the free games available in the Windows Phone marketplace are naff, but Call of Carlos set itself sunder from other games. In fact, during the whole game play not even for a single second the graphics of the game will embitter you. In a relatively simple game, Carlos, an apathetic and chubby Mexican miner who while mining pulled out a diamond which was covering the lava beneath.
Much like human nature, Carlos tries to break the diamond loose which subsequently causes lava to erupt from the bottom of the shaft. As a Carlos you’ve to use pickaxe to save yourself from the emerging lava. Not to surprise that the endless mine route gets tougher and tougher as you clears each level.
The simplicity of the game sets it apart from the other game. In fact, it is a perfect time killer game to have on your Windows Phone. During his journey from bottom of the mine to exit at the top, he has some chances to collect more diamonds. Since the pickaxe works in vertical position, you’ve to tilt Carlos as quickly as possible to align below the pickaxe points. Let me warn you it is not as simple as you think. I had to attempt it several times before clearing 4th level, but you can blame my arduous game skill. In this ultimate fun game, you’ll find yourself spending hours to improve your score.
In the past, it has been rewarded as the featured game numerous times. This put in contention with games like Angry Birds, Cut the Rope and Daemon Jump.
