Windows Phone OS is a great addition to Microsoft’s software family. It is unique and feature rich OS, but at times you feel some modifications needed to be done in order to get more out of the OS. We’ve seen loads of homebrew apps in the past, which adds more sugar to the Mango juice, making it more sweet and useful.
Singularity0821, developer over XDA forum, has created a homebrew app that gives you a live battery status update. Of course, you may not feel it as one of the necessary app, but while travelling this sideload keeps you alert about your battery status. The impressive side about this application is that it supports double-sided Live Tile showing you all you need to know about your battery. It makes the application visually more appealing and useful.
Live Tile is updated at every 30 minutes (this is a limitation of OS itself) so you may not get the accurate status of the battery at every minute. However, this could be considered as an added bonus as it doesn’t drain your battery much. Of course, you need to have chevronwp7 unlocked Windows Phone in order to use this application. Interop unlock (basically it gives access to registry so you can change it according to your need) is not required to run this application, so it should work on all the device flawlessly.

Battery Status for Windows Phone
Battery Status app for Windows Phone is available for free from XDA forum. It truly is not a live tile as it gets updated at every half an hour only so you may find it useless when you’re running out of it. This also gives you stats about remaining charge, amount of discharge power, history. History option is useful when you want to see how your phone performs when you install other app which might adversely affect your battery performance.
Battery status app supports multiple language including Chinese, Czech, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Developer is consistently improving the application so we advice you to keep your eyes on the thread to see whether any new update is available or not.
